So, the weather’s getting windy, wet and cold, and in a blink of an eye, it’s November already! We have been keeping busy down in the studio; step in from the cold and join one of our ongoing classes, or check out our new workshops, or see this gorgeous new mural in the ruelle by Montréal artist FONKi behind us!
Our mural artist is Yavana, a Montrealer-Khmer-French artist, also known as FONKi. His work ranges from street art, to painting, cinema/film animation, illustration and more. One of his recent projects is Wet Paint, a documentary film on the positive impact of street art in the revitalization of post-conflict Cambodia. Check out the Indiegogo page or go to The Roots Remain for more info. More images of the IYI mural in progress:
You can see the third wall in its original condition; to be finished soon!
