Gentle, Restorative Hatha Yoga
Integral Flow (Community Class)
A more dynamic and therapeutic practice of poses, inspired by vinyasa (Sanskrit for “flow”), yoga therapy and gentle somatic yoga. In Integral Yoga Flow classes, the progression of poses will synchronize breath with movement. New poses from a variety of modalities are introduced, but with a meditative, gentle approach similar to our Hatha I classes. One full hour of postures, followed by a half hour featuring our signature deep relaxation, pranayama and meditation. A fully invigorating, holistic practice. Beginners and members welcome; by donation.
Meditation Sessions
For everyone. Meetings to practice one or more techniques of meditation to help deepen your practice or to help you learn to meditate. Available in English and French.
Private Yoga Classes
Whether you are new to yoga or just want individual instruction in a class customized to your physical needs, private yoga classes are a great way to help you develop a regular yoga practice, if you are too busy to come to a group class. Private sessions are also ideal if you want to manage stress, or have pain or injury, as the pace can be tailored to your needs. After a brief evaluation, classes can include a variety of teachings, from instruction in postures, to breathing and meditation techniques and guided deep relaxation.
Rates: $60 (1 hour 15 mins) / $40 (45 mins)
